back to the OP, i understand disclaimers and all, but i wud think that once u cross into "biography" territory, u shud be ineligible from using them. there's a diff between a "fictionalized biography" -- like citizen kane or walking tall -- and one using real names and at least pretending to be more-or-less accurate.
did gandhi have such a disclaimer? did malcolm x? did patton? did jobs (same year as lovelace), for that matter? i do not know. i'm truly curious, if anyone has access to copies. |
