Downloads with multple angles--any way to separate them?
I've noticed that there are a couple videos that you can download but have multiple angles combined into one file, so it shows one second of angle one and then one second of angle two--is there anyway to separate them out or a player that can do it? I know DVD players will do it, and I doubt there's a way to do what I'm asking, but I figured what the heck.

EDIT: Well I did it the hard way; Windows Movie Maker 6.0 and divided them out. Every 1.70 seconds...I hope someone has a better way to do it because I have a couple others and I do NOT want to go through all that again. |

Depends of the software used to rip the source. For instance with handbrake you can select the angle you want (de first by default) and you have the whole film with angle 1. You can repeat the process with the second angle, so you have the whole film with angle 2 and so on. If you don't want to rip the whole film you can select the chunks you want.
I tried to put all the streams in one file (film angle 1 + 1rt chunk angle 2 + 2nd chunk angle 2...) to be able to see the film like in a multiangle DVD but I dindn't succeed. Other software like MEGUI do what happened to you, so both angles are combined increasing the length of the film length film angle 1 + length 1st chunk angle 2, etc. |
