I am legend!
Hello all
Just wanted to say that I am the motha F*cking legend when it comes to working out how to do things I have no idea about. Just bought a Alienware M11x R1 laptop to replace a media PC of mine, not my gaming one. Before realising oh shit it doesn't have a CD/DVD player for me to get rid of windows 7? Oh yeah I use xp for media PC. So while spending useless time trying via LAN I spent 34 hours straight installing xp more then 9 times on this laptop with a USB. Finally got it though and am proudly enjoying this  If you need a guide on how to do it dont ask me cos I dont know. K sweet |

Hi,
First, the computer looking very fantastic on this computer for 34 hours installation time, and did you fail, you lose. So why bother to try an alternative to the installation of XP? How many kinds did you try the XP CD.Regards. |

After so many of my DVD drives failing over the past years, I decided to buy a cheap external USB powered unit (R+W+RW) for less than £20.00: it works fine, and I use it across all my computers.
