always getting stickmen on burnt dvd in playback
I have the Windows 7 program on the computer with the 32 bit IE 8 browser and the 64 bit IE 8 browser too. I use the 32 bit browser always as its very fast. My computer is the Acer desktop with quad core processor. I am able to download links and files to the computer with no problem. After using the usual software program e.g. winrar etc I watch the downloaded video playback flawlessly on the 22 inch computer screen
But when I burn this same video to blank dvd disc and play it in the dvd recorder, I ALWAYS get stick men as images. I mean that the images of people for example are very thin and narrow. The picture takes up all of the 50 inch tv in the living room regardlees of burning the links in 4x3 or 16x9 format. There are no horizontal blak bars or vertical black bars to be seen on the screen. I have tried adjusting the tv screen size to accomodate this terrible stickmen images, and all to no avail. I have used the Windows 7 built in burner called the DVD MAKER as well as 3 other burning videos to blank dvd discs software programs. I get the same results all the time - STICKMEN STICKMEM STICKMEN This all has resulted in me getting the " Mother of Super Migraines " every time I burn videos from the computer to blank disc. I have played the burnt disc on Panasonic, Hitachi, and Samsung playback dvd players, and still see STICKMEN IMAGERY ALL THE TIME. The same burnt dvd disc will also show the SAME STICKMEN when playing back in the computer. The only time when the video plays back perfect is when I watch the video on the computer screen FROM THE ORIGINAL DOWNLOADED LINKS Any and all help in getting me the normal sized images on playback on burnt dvd disc is gratefully accepted. I am a beginner user of a computer Thank you very much |

Can you provide us with a screenshot of the stick men type figures you are seeing on your computer screen?
I am not sure 100% if this is the cause but when burning DVDs I believe you can choose the resolution/aspect ratio, speed (10x, 20x, 40x) and other video options? Try and play around with those setting until you get a good image. It's either that or the DVD may have a small scratch and possibly a corrupt video file was being burned.

I'm not sure with this, but I think there something wrong with your burner software or, maybe, your win 7.
What version is it? |
