I will check if it is a Windows issue, I have also a linux machine where I can try.

On Linux the RS-checking even don't work, but the quoting works

the RS linkchecker hadn't worked for me before, but just yesterday started working...

I think it had to do with a massive involuntary cookie dump my computer did.

All good now, thanks guys. Let me know if you upgrade to FF3 and if the gear still works then.
