What decade had the best looking people in your opinion (tone,beauty)

I think the best period for fashion and beauty was 1890 to 1910. I love the corset style dresses with the long hobble skirts,the shirts and coats. I loved the hair too.

Then again,I think the 80s had the most beautiful people too. I looked at old pics of the cast of Dynasty and Dallas and I loved the clothes and the wild hair.
Seemed like a fun decade to be an adult. I was a child then.

Maybe 2000s. 2010s onward too many people have tattoos, piercings and other modifications which make them uglier.

1970s women had something special, especially blondes.
Not my style, but 1950s women were gorgeous too! Love the way they used make-up.

It also depends on the country though.

1950s. Hands down. From Cary Grant to Kirk Douglas, from Grace Kelly to Jane Russell. The decade of James Dean and Marylin Monroe. Such a glorious era Madonna made a single out of it and created the posing dance craze of another decade that she admittedly ripped off from the NY gay club scene but what the hell. All the style brought forward from the Art Deco era through the World War into the post war celebration of freedom. the last time show business projected a genuine aura of perfection.

There have been many beautiful people since, but there has never been an era like it and looking at the utter shitpit we've made of the world, and the complete fuckwits we now consider our "role models" there will never be again
