Another one of My personal OCD kinda issues is just getting things right. Many times when I'm gonna reference something I look it up so that I will do it correctly. I'm talking to you, Veronicamars. I just encountered a pet peeve last night and it's called shitty sound design.

Hot gal walks into a ceramic tiled floor bathroom and every step was a painful reminder how some production companies don't know how to use a microphone. Her heel steps were thunderous. When the gal put her purse down on the vanity, you could practically hear every car key, pill bottle, stray dildo, make-up case and whatever else she carried. And even when she started moaning and occasionally talking, you could hear the reverb of her voice in that bathroom. She sounded so hollow.

I know jokingly we all talk about who listens to porn but this was one definite incident where mute was brought into play.

Kinda similar to the above it's SO FUCKING ANNOYING when a scene is filmed in a bathroom and there is running water for most or even all of the scene! The sound is annoying, you have to either turn the sound very low and hear almost nothing, or if you want to hear the performers moaning it sounds like there's a fucking waterfall next to your ears. Just turn the fucking water off idiots!

We get that you want to point out that it's a bathroom with the running water but it shouldn't overtake the entire audio. That's the sort of stuff, IF the producers were smart (obviously not) they'd just add it later in post. And at a modest level as not to ruin the scene.

I know none of these backstreet Francis Ford Coppolas have any sort of film making prowess but they're making amateur porn look top notch.

Anyone doing DVD rips or AI upscales of old Anabolic/Diabolic DVDs but using the audio channel that has the music. I used to rent these dvd's back in the day, trouble was they came with 2 audio channels, the default being your typical crappy loud porn music drowning out the action or the the 2nd channel sans any music. Everyone ripping these automatically uses the larger audio file which is? you guessed it!...the shitty fucking muzak default channel
