See what happens when a country singer meets a country hooker as Dave and his pal Billy B get detoured from a gig at a country-western bar by sexy hitchhikers Jen and Sue (Sandy Dempsey and Rene Bond). The girls however are actually in the employ of sleazy Mike The Singing Pimp, who wants the boys waylaid so he can continue polluting the bar with his prostitution racket and rotten music. But when Jen and Sue end up falling for the two dumb lugs, Mike adds "strangler" to his already unsavory resume.

Another review:

Time for some good old country musick in the Age of Aquarius. In other words, sex, violence, and some God-awful singing. Sexploitation superstars RENE BOND and SANDY DEMPSEY go down home and down on each other in this tawdry tale of hookers sent to waylay a couple of country-western singers.

En route to a gig at the Tampa Bar in Canoga Park, RIC LUTZE and JOHN PAUL JONES get waylaid by Rene and Sandy. In fact, everyone gets waylaid, over and over and over again, in this nasty soft-X answer to the eternal question: "What happens when a country hick meets a Country Hooker?" As if you didn't know.

As a dubious bonus, we get to hear Mr. Lutze (sporting an utterly ridiculous Prince Valiant hairdo) perform three or four songs, a musical tragedy of unutterable dimensions that clearly marks that most lamentable era-ending moment, "the day the music died."

The plot -- to use the term broadly -- is propelled by the evil scheming of a pill pushing pimp asshole named Mike, whose motivation here is well-nigh unfathomable. He's the guy who sics Rene and Sandy on the country singers. He's also the guy who fucks MARIA ARNOLD while she's gaga on the drugs he's pumped into her. And he's the guy who screws and strangles Sandy to death in the desert. Worse, he's the guy who asks Ric to sing. He, of course, can be forgiven everything but this last outrage.

But forget Mike and the plot and, instead, enjoy Miss Bond, Miss Dempsey, and Miss Arnold as they hump their healthy hearts out for the greater glory of sexploitationism and the delight of degenerates for generations to cum. God bless them all.

A near minor classic from HARRY NOVAK. Too bad it doesn't come with ear plugs.
