This year we (well, probably not us in particular) celebrate ten years since the b1@cked site was launched. It has clearly been very popular, with then-owner and director Greg Wanksky launching a string of other sites with different themes (including +ushy, V1xen, B1@cked r@w and +ushy r@w) but similar directorial style.

Top stars, some one-and-done comebacks (eg Sophie Dee, I think Tasha Reign?), expensive locations, branded products, clearly signs of a company doing well. Proving that the saying that "piracy has killed porn" is an excuse peddled by second-rate pornographers who have failed to produce strong content.

One thing I like about them, concerning the b1@cked website, is that probably for the first time someone bothered to produce interracial porn without including the ridiculous racist stereotypes of the black guys being gangsters/da hood etc. Also they are top-notch from a technical point of view (natural colours, high resolution videos). I also like that plenty of their scenes take place outside, and they are better than most studios in having the women naked during the scene.

At the same time, their scenes are repetitive in the extreme (all sites are, but these guys seem even worse than usual). Most of their scenes give me a vibe of being over-directed; yes they are shot well, but the result doesn't come across as fun to me. And then there are those photosets in which the ladies are always looking at the camera with dead eyes.

As a result I'm usually drawn in by interesting-looking screencaps, then watch it and get disappointed and delete most scenes unless they feature one of my faves who hasn't done many other scenes. I still can't bring myself to delete the v1xen scene with Sophie Dee, despite the fact that it was crap, because it's her only scene in high-quality HD. And I kept the +ushy scene with Leigh Raven for years, despite the fact that it was more boring than watching paint dry, plus I can't stand Mick Blue. Oh well.

So, your thoughts? Do you like or hate scenes of these sites? Any favourite scene you'd like to comment on?

it would have to be someone really special in these scenes for me to watch. I just avoid them.

I keep track of the "raw" sites more than the others. As a Tori Black fan, I enjoyed her scenes because it was exciting to see her in action again.

I originally joined/followed the sites: blacked, vixen, etc because of Kendra Sunderland. I was a fan of hers. I know blacked is popular because they made classy IR porn which was basically non-existented before them.

That being said I don't follow them anymore simply because I don't watch new porn or current porn anymore.

Wasn't piracy. Corona and social media, esp. sites like OnlyFans et al blew the business - and specially from the view of the girls I totally can understand why. A few selfies a week, some custom content for tips, a present list make much easier money than all that studio business with year-long contracts and just being some cashcow for a money-hungry producer, not to speak of the violence and ruthlessness of the business in total.

Bl@cked and similar are outstanding from the techniacl view: Their photographers know what they do, the lighting is overwhelming, the people (boys as girls) are perfectly made up, the settings are clean, professional and noble. I personally do not like the overtuned RAW pics, that's too artificial in my view but seems to meet some market. So congrats to those guys and girls for doing a continous 10-year-job! Don't let down. I like quality!

not an anal fan, so I'm not really into the two +ushy sites (except if it's one of my favourite pornstars or a rare DP that interests me), but I like the others a lot. Top production, high quality and good performances for the most part. You can see they put a lot of money and effort into this, and it definitely pays off IMO.

Has it really been ten years? Damn, I knew I was getting old, but I didn't realize I was getting that old.

I really used to like their videos. A lot. In fact, I think it was Blacked that turned me on to IR vids. Their early stuff was unique and had a variety of great models. But now it's the same people, the same scenarios, and a lot of times just over-the-top grandstanding that makes them too unrealistic.

Crazy to think it's been a decade, and in that time, Blacked has not only helped launch the careers of a number of BBC superstars, but played a major part in helping interracial become one of the most popular porn categories. And hey, however you feel about the site over the years, if not for what they'd brought to the biz, we might not see as many starlets willing to take those monster black dicks on camera.
