Split file into mutiple .ZIp files?
I'm new to uploading and I've come upon a problem. I'm having trouble uploading larger files(400MB and up) via "filazilla." I've tried splitting a file into .zips using "WinRar" and "7-zip" with no success. With "WinRar" I can only split files into .rar. With "7-zip" if gives you the option to split them into zip but the output is always .rar... What gives? Am I missing something? I tried renaming them to .zip but that doesn't change the file type. Should I be using another program? Or am I forced to use .rar to split files?
Thanks

when you right-click on winrar it gives you an option before processing for either RAR or ZIP (versions 3.90 and above)
Over 400mb files are not flexible for DL and backup. Sometimes connection stops and you have to start from beginning. The splitting size depends on yours. I suggest from 200 to 350mb max for video. You can use winRAR for .zip or .rar splitting files. Majority prefers .rar and winrar app but this again depends on yours

Thanks. If the majority of people prefer .rar then that solves the entire problem. I'll start using .rar... Thanks!
