That's the stereotypical cycle of most female pop stars. From Innocent to slut, to "wiser" and more "insightful" (AKA pretentious but still dumb as fuck). Katy Perry is a perfect example of this.

Katy Perry had a wiser era in her career? Did I miss it?

I do agree that being slutty does seem to be the path set for so many young female singers. Is it the best route? Is it a way of attracting more listeners or is it their own personal way of exploring their own sexuality being reflected too?

TS might not go down this route though. She's already teasing but I think her management team is fully aware of that route taken by so many others- only to flame out. They seem pretty business savvy so maybe- just maybe she can avoid that odd evolution and can maintain her pop star appeal.

This made me LOL. Maybe her "wiser" phase was a few years ago when her concert movie came out. Promos showed her crying and getting all emotional, like we were supposed to feel sorry for her.
