If the forum removes content from a post due to a DMCA claim, is there any way to dispute the claim and possibly have the content restored?

I just noticed that a post I made in the "Girls Finishing the Job" thread was struck down:

The content in question was two screencaps I made from a scene that was related to the topic of the thread. In my view, this clearly falls under the heading of fair use and should not have been deleted. I am not upset or anything, and I know the forum probably would rather err on the side of caution. Just wondering if it was possible to get a review of the takedown.

The DMCA probably knows a way, you always need a fallback for false claims. But I don't think that PlanetSuzy can make use of it, if there is one. This is mostly a question of efficiency. Forum staff doesn't deal with DMCA requests. The owners of the forum take care of them.

If you want to dispute a claim, we would have to forward your request to them somehow, it then needs to be checked and then they could dispute the claim on your behalf. That's not really viable.

I think the only way you could legitimately dispute it is if it were your property in question. ie. Landos' Porn Films material or Lando the pornstar who owns the rights to his own material. Other than that, you don't own it therefore, how do you have any right to dispute it, unless the person who does own, told you that it was OK to share it.

There may be laws I'm unaware of but that's how I understand it.
