I agree. It's even more annoying when it's several pages in a row. Some mods leave filehost Pictures posts that no longer have links because the preview pictures are pictures. I moved them here:

This tool would be interesting for none links to drop by DMCA. It would just drop for lack of download.

@c0ntr0lz I would be very careful storing anything in filecrypt for the following 2 reasons:

1) It goes down a lot. A simple google search will demonstrate that.
2) It is constantly targeted due to software piracy etc. And with the .cc domain name - you're basically moving content etc. to a mythical country code for the Cocos Islands off the coast of AUS that are.....administered by the US. If you dig a little deeper almost all of their documentation is written in German.

Their local utility is fine but that doesn't resolve the problem you are trying to solve. Just my 2 cents after I mentioned it to the SO.

I totally agree with you DoctorNo, if the links are dead then remove the post to the dead links section at least the few pics are still there and will show up on a search. I recently reported a request for a deep clean of the http://veterperementour.ru/t940474-me...ktomara-a.html thread and the MOD replied that if the pics are live then the post stays!! I lost the will to live after the first 100 odd posts are dead links bar a few scattered live links. There are live pics in PATM SD threads with dead links but they get removed??

I wasnt suggesting any supervisory role or even access to the system. Just a volunteer to look after their chosen Fav stars and possibly 5 others that are oldies. It could be a route for new members to contribute something back to the forum. This is one of the points in the "Requests" post of PATM

And I don't know what you mean in the pictures complain, isn't every picture post a rar or a zip file you download and either way the link is alive and you get all the pictures or the link is dead

I often find a film or a pic set and then search for the film or pic set to match. Just seems logical to go to the first page where the bio and other clickable links, which I think are helpful, such as pornteengirl, eurobabe ect are, and then go to her PATM Pic or PATM SD thread. These links are valuable if its a new star to you and you want to look at her complete works.

As for where the reporting dead links is. I thought PATM was available to all members no matter what your status is? Therefore reporting dead links is open to everyone.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but keeping PATM clean as a whistle is an unsolvable puzzle. We just recruited a new mod for PATM, and he can already see it's a futile fight. The only thing we can do is stay on top of Reports and clean threads to mitigate reports - which never happens because of the vast amount of porn stars (each with 3 threads) and the multiple new porn stars arriving daily. Oh and links that die randomly, all the time. I wish I could give you a peek behind the curtain.

Also, if a member has content, but the link or post is dead, they will report it, because that's how a lot of members make money from the forum - by posting content. If the post has been dead for a while, there's a pretty good chance no one has that content. In a way, you already have people looking after their favorite porn star's thread; They're called cash posters.

Our cleaning efficacy and reporting system are far from perfect, but it's what we got and it kinda works...most of the time.

As for some of the other stuff you wished for - the forum is old and we are incapable of implementing anything new. That has been said throughout this thread and forum a shitload of times. Where have you been hiding for the last 9.5 years of your stay here at Planetsuzy?



I like the idea, but it's resources we don't have. We can barely keep up now. I think the members here can afford the time to search for their own porn. If you got time and desire to orgasm, then you got time and motivation to search.

As for helpers choosing 5 stars and been given 5 more. As I originally said Im not tech savvy but surely the tech exists where you publish a list and members react/choose then MODs action it after 12 hours, with the first responders getting their pick of the bunch. As for the popular ones, you could for example look at the 40 most recent pages within the PATM threads to see which stars are the most recently posted about. This is not finite, it could be 24 hours, or 50 most recent pages. If it is created by MODs, members will follow rules as is the norm on forums or they get punished.

I totally disagree with your statement that a member will report their own dead content, if that was the case there wouldn’t be any dead links and you would be out a job and sat twiddling your thumbs. Oh to live in a perfect world.

As for a clickable link within each post to report a dead link and the facility to send it to the poster and a MOD and A highlighted message to appear on the post for the general viewing population to see. As I originally said Im not Tech Savvy but surely the tech exists where once the post has been clicked/identified/message sent and the “Post Reported” Highlighted message appears then no one else can report it, no duplicated reports. Tech a bit like having to click on the thanks button to see hidden links.

I didn’t “Wish” for anything. I merely suggested some things that in my view seemed easily achievable and would be a benefit to all, and assist in the smooth running of the forum. Yes, things are time consuming, what isn’t? As for where have I been for 9.5 years, well I have read this board from time to time but all I see from individuals like you is negativity and dismissive comments against individuals who post suggestions to hopefully improve the forum for the good and benefit of all. So I didn’t bother, as I didn’t want the sarcasm. Probably how a lot of people feel.

It could be possible to make the DLC file through jDownloader and share it on servers (ZippyShare) preferably. So people open the file and already open it directly in jDownloader.

A lot of us have to create DLC packages to get content where links are not in plain text. You are 100% correct. Sorry if I misunderstood your 'vision'.

Junior Members can view PATM threads, but they can't post in PATM Reports because they don't have permission to post in the PATM section at all.
