Last Man 3.46 and Public Update

Today we have an update of the club and public version of the game. Some features and content from early access have become available to everyone.

The story with Hermione also received new morning events. Let me remind you that this girl asked for a visit to our hero, and now she is trying to play the role of a couple in love. And it only depends on your actions how it all ends.

The game engine has received some more changes and will now be able to load from the server not only location data, but also graphic textures, if they are not in your client. This will work on all platforms, and will allow you to start playing by downloading only a lightweight game client. The download of new files will be transparent, without interrupting your gameplay.

I will clarify that at the moment the game will not download any files. When this becomes active, you can enable or disable it in the settings, in case you are not playing with unlimited traffic.

The Android version of the game has been updated to the latest build and will continue now to run in parallel with other platforms.

Today we continue the story of Hermione. She asked to live in our hero’s apartment, and pretends to be a couple in love. But so far it only gives trouble and inconvenience. How this story ends depends only on your actions.

Some more locations were prepared for downloading on demand. Such locations will not be included in the distribution of the lightweight client and mobile platforms, but will be automatically downloaded by the game as it progresses. This can be disabled if your traffic is not unlimited.

Also, some bugs were fixed and game resources were repackaged to take up less space.

Another major update to the game mechanics, both from the client and server side. Loading of gamesaves and locations has been accelerated several times. The game client has decreased by 100 megabytes.

Some quests have received additional branches, depending on your actions. Now in development is an updated office from the first chapters. So you still have time to replay it before it is deleted. Perhaps the whole storyline with Olga will disappear

Some lost events that were triggered too rarely have returned.

The hero’s apartment received a major update. Now there are significantly more opportunities for upgrading, and you can furnish it throughout the game. You can find some rare items in the game world, or win on Base missions.

Also, some items give buffs and bonuses to the hero, for example, restore energy, reduce hunger, or even launch new events. Perhaps some of the rarest items will be added to the New game +, to the rest of the bonuses, so that they don’t have to be searched again and their buffs work right away.

The purchase of the items themselves for the apartment was taken out to the New Post store in the first city. It also received many updates.

The system of auto-updating of the game has been improved, new servers have been added to choose from. Reduced the size of the game client.

In this build, Hermione got the continuation of her story. She asked to live with our hero, and for several days now she has been causing him inconvenience, albeit sometimes pleasant. It happened in this update too, she had a bad dream and came to wake us up.

In addition, the handling of the fast login to the server, introduced in one of the past updates, has been improved. The game will correctly wait for a server response if you have a bad connection.

Some bugs were also fixed and the size of the game client was optimized.

Due to the latest changes in macOS, the game client has not been updated for it. The previous version will continue to work as usual.

Last Man 3.51

This build has a lot of updates to different game systems. Some of them will start working in the rest of our games as well. There are also some new items.

I’ll clarify right away that the game’s auto-update system is now moving to new servers (for some regions it may not work at this time). But you can, as usual, download the full client from the links on the website.

As already mentioned earlier, now we are working on updating the first days and the office where the main hero worked. Perhaps this is the last build when you can meet Olga there. But the angry boss is no more, a new girl has taken her place, and some events can now go differently.

Another event not to be missed is the seasonal multiplayer event at the Casino. Playmate Karen has become available again, and will stay in the PromZone until the end of the month. The event itself received a new mechanic and will now be held twice a year, in March and September.

Another novelty is a new system for catching bugs. If your game suddenly freezes, it will automatically send an error code to the bug tracker. So hot fixes will be released even faster. But, as before, you can do it manually on the website.

The Quests List has been updated. Some tasks received additional tips, or were updated for the latest changes in the game.

As we wrote earlier, the office of our heroes, where he starts the game, received a big update. Instead of Olga, there is now a new beauty Eva, with an updated storyline. Tell us who would like such a friend in the office?

If you have previously completed the event with Olga, then she will remain in the game’s album. But you will no longer be able to meet her in the office. Other quests with her are still active, but soon they will also receive changes.

Some dialogues in other scenes of the game have also been updated.

Many bugs have been fixed as well. Fixed freezes in the Game Album.

Windows version of the game is now 64bit.

In this urgent build, we are fixing bugs that appeared after a major update on Friday. Fixed freezes and some minor bugs.

There are still some problems with the auto-update system (Windows only). If you are using one of the previous versions of the game, and an error appears when you try to update, then you can download the updater separately. It needs to be unzipped into the game folder and then run. You can also download the full client from the links from the website.

Last Man 3.54

As you already know, Olga’s place in the office was taken by another girl, with a new storyline. But at your request, we decided not to delete Olga completely, but to give her an interesting ending, which was invented by one of our players.

Olga’s story now begins at the office location, but after the start of the epidemic. This event has received new dialogs about Olga and will launch some events that will become available a little later with other characters.

Olga’s new final story arc starts at the end of the game, after your return from Leesburg, where you and Julia tried to establish the base of New Post. To start new events, you must have completed all of Olga’s previous events, namely at her home, in the cottage house, in the casino and in the office of New Post. (If you played the game with Olga’s old storyline, then the new ending will still be available to you. It is not necessary to go through everything again.)

The game has received updated “Quest List” and “100% Walkthrough”. There you can find even more quest hints and directions on where to go next. Beware, “100% Walkthrough” contains plot spoilers.

Fixed a crash when trying to auto-update the game, which some players encountered. From the previous bugged version, you can try updating by running update.exe in the game folder. Or by downloading the full client from our website.

In this build, Olga’s storyline has received some fixes. Let me remind you that this girl was a secretary in our hero’s office, but was replaced by another character. And now she will receive a completely new ending to her story.

The localization system of the game has been changed. If you have done custom translations for yourself, then the files will need to be converted to json format. And if you want to help our team and the gaming community, you can also participate in the translation of the game.
