Dude don't cheap out, these are seriously fun but somewhat aged effects pedals that have a distinctive sound that can add to a mix or live gig if your funds are limited on the production end. I keep a boat load of old effects in a room in my studio for clients to laugh and recall different times when we weren't so lucky to be fully digital as we are now.

I keep some old analog equipment around as well to remind me where I came from to get to this point where a laptop is a home studio these days if need be. The warm sound of an old Ampeg tube amp is hard to beat.

The wah wah pedal is a hoot.

I was 13 the first time I got to run a board in a studio in Vancouver for a band that I have continued to associate with all these years later and was lucky enough to be taken under the wing of Randy Bachman of BTO fame as well as that of "Mutt" Lange who needs no introduction, plus I got to know Shania Twain personally through that hookup so I won twice there.

But I better start slow here with any accomplishments and come off as a know it all ... I am still learning 40 some years later !!!

I also need to tread lightly so as not to name drop some clients that you might be able to associate me with in real life through my posts since I don't have the right to air their laundry in public without consent but will talk up a few "friends" and see if they are ok with being inadvertently associated with a porn site that could become a PR nightmare for me and them alike ...

My Digitech stopped booting early this year. The guy on the phone said it sounded like a ribbon cable but I'd have to take it to a Licensed Digitech Consultant to troubleshoot and fix it. I'm willing to buy the ribbon cable and see what happens. It's way out of warranty. I haven't called them back yet to inquire about mailing me the ribbon cable in question, directly. Does anyone here know if that's possible or will they only ship parts to a select group?
