just since you have so many external drives it may take a few hours, id run it like when your asleep so you arent sitting there waiting for it to finish, just click custom scan and check off each drive, and after its done it will display the results

Do you use any download managers? Speedbit seems to own DAP (Download Accelerator Plus). Perhaps during installation you didn't untick an option and that allowed DAP to install some PUP on your system. Boot your PC in safe mode, uninstall driverupdate, scan with Malwarebytes

No. Don't have any Download managers on my PC.

Used it once on my old PC 8 years ago and uninstalled it.

Since it never install on my computer, it was just the installation program icon on the desktop, I don't have driverupdate on my computer to uninstall.

Not under control panel, not in any folders in drive C or in any external hard drives.

Nowhere.

Something put the 4.4 MB installation icon on the desktop twice and I haven't seen it again since about 11:15 pm last Friday night.

Hey, were you able to run the custom scan as i said and scan all your external hard drives? if they all came back as ' no threats', you should be fine.
