I have to say that Hi-Def porn is best appreciated when the production values and talent casting take into account the new technology: just shooting with Hi-Def DigiBetas is not going to be enough unless you take care to light the scene properly.
As for the talent, any skin imperfections show up big time, so a proper make-up artist must be hired for the job.

From uploader/downloader's point of view, I note that the average size of a Hi-Def scene is upwards of 600mb: I have recently have had to, with great regret, delete some scenes from my external drive to make place for new ones...

We are soon all going to need drives holding many Tetrabytes to house the same number of clips we have today.
