Looking for an editing program that will allow you to fast forward or scan through Tivo videos.

Tivo as in DVR? A computer can't even read the HDD from a Tivo. You would need to get the files from the Tivo onto the computer first, which usually involves playing the files on the Tivo and capturing them on the computer. At which point there are numerous tools available for editing.

I have never used these tools (never had a tivo player or video file to tinker with) thus I'm just posting about these tools because I remembered this thread.
