Any simple apps/programs to trim videos?

I tried Free Video Cutter Joiner, but makes videos choppy. I'm just looking to keep the best scenes.

I use Media Cope. It can be "hit or miss" at times in terms of getting it to work, but for the most part, it does the job. You won't see any choppiness.

btw, which version of Free Video Cutter are you using? I use 1.2 and have to say, it works like a charm with no choppiness whatsoever.

Just finished using Media Cope, the files play great, however the new files are bigger than the originals.

I trimmed a 57MB 5 minute video into a 97.7MB file two minute long.

I just remembered this happens with Free Video Cutter too. I always select keep video quality the same.

I know what you mean with Media Cope. To avoid what you experienced, use the custom settings to manually enter the exact same bitrate and frame size as the original.
