![]() I've been looking at ways to access UFC Fightpass streaming services which has key PPV events blacked out in the country where I live. I came across a Youtube vid about Opera browser's developer edition which comes with a free VPN service.
It looks pretty good and appears to be working. I've set it up so that it appears as if I'm in the Netherlands. Going to UFC Fightpass the event I want to stream in a couple of weeks time no longer has broadcast restrictions. Cool - but I'm just wondering if it will be fast enough to handle the stream. I have checked out a couple of 1080p Youtube vids and they seem to stream OK. But you never know. What appears strange to me is that when I logged in to Planetsuzy with VPN enabled, I expected to have to input my password. I thought the site wouldn't know who or where I was as technically I'm coming from a different IP address and my original address should be hidden. But no - I landed on Planetsuzy fully logged in with the usual Welcome Pad in the top right hand corner. ![]() So just wondering: Any of you guys or gals tried using Opera with VPN, and if so what do you think? How did Planetsuzy know who I was with VPN enabled? |

![]() That's very strange! I use Opera as my main web browser, but I don't see anything about a VPN. Well, I did at first, but it wasn't free. I forgot the company they were using.
Are you on a Mac or PC? I'm not sure how you were logged in while using a VPN. May be it has something to do with your cookies. |

![]() I had to enter my credentials to log into PlanetSuzy. I'm guessing you didn't have to because your login information was stored.
It seems to bypass my host file. I'm getting a lot of ads that I wouldn't normally see |
