We're having the same problem here in Italy, with age verification and sh*t like that.
Although at first it was only a matter of obscuring Torrent and illegal football matches streaming sites, now it seems that they applied the same thing for legit sites as well.

I'm currently using UrbanVPN.
Works just fine for most obscured Torrent and other legit sites.

There are THOUSANDS of channels on Telegram of underage teenager girls sex-texting and doing cam shows for a few $$$ with married family-men of 50-60yo, but still.
Even though the news occasionally reports this, other than the illegal Fentanyl bought by people on the Dark Web, no one is really doing a damn thing to dismantle all of this at all, starting from the creators of all these social media platforms.

I see LOTS of kids snitching in Adult rooms in VR, where politics and other things are discussed.
I used to enjoy chatting with some people from overseas, even watching some movies with other people, from time to time, but eventually I gave up as Zuckerberg CAN ban/block a person's Quest headset if he/she gets reported for "suspicious activity" (even though he/she hasn't really done anything at all), so.
In order not to have a paperweight, I just gave up on all social-oriented VR stuff that Meta and other Apps promotes, and just use my Quest 3 as a 3-monitor setup and personal theater.

But, still.
Anyone under 18yo shouldn't really be allowed to have ANY social media account at all.

Of course we're not talking politics, here.
But Meta actually CAN block a Quest anytime they want, as it's in their "policy".
I heard stories of people getting their VR headset "blocked" by Meta, out of nowhere.
So better "play safe" than be sorry, so to speak.
