I'm looking for a free or trial alternative to Haiper AI. Something that will take a picture and make a 5 to 10 second video from it. I've tried Googling for other options but they all take me to sites that don't offer a trial period. I'm looking for a website that will let me test out their image-to-video conversion before I purchase a subscription. I'm asking because Haiper AI is terrible (doesn't understand my prompts and often veers into the uncanny valley).

There is a program by Smith Micro called Anime Studio Pro which took images and created a video. You could make a video as long as you wanted. This software is mostly used for cartoons but you can use it to make videos from photos or AI generated images. There were numerous sites which post links to download this software together with the registration key. The links that I have for v6.0 no longer work and are about 15 years old. I believe the latest version is 11.2. Smith Micro does offer a free trial. There are a lot of other companies that have this kind of software. Most of them refer to this type of software as anime or animation.
