Regardless of my musical preferences/tastes that changed over the years, Linkin Park will always hold a special place in my heart.
Just like Metallica, Korn, Alice in Chains, they were part of my teenage years. And, no. It's not the same thing, for me, without Chester. Replacing him with a cultist who doesn't believe in mental illnesses, and who also defended a serial sex/ch1ld molester in court (remember Chester was molested as a kid, just like Jonathan from Korn) was like if Alice In Chains hired a singer with drug problems to replace Layne. Totally disrespectful. Fortunately Chester's legacy lives on through fan remixes, old live shows, demos and amazing studio albums. And that's where Linkin Park ends, for me. Had they made a few live shows with Aaron Lewis to commemorate Chester, it would had been so much better.

I think that cult, (Scientology) is gonna burn with Diddy. Complete with tunnels all over LRH BLV., They're currently under human trafficking charges, they OWN the LAPD Hollywood division...,the list goes on! It's all connected. This is the only cult worth a dam! Godzilla Blue Oyster Cult Music Video HD |

At least Alice In Chains did got support from Layne's mother, which she even helped them fund their record "Black Gives Way To Blue", back in 2009. And Alice/Jerry Cantrell kept Layne's legacy alive, and continued to write dark-themed songs, even though he didn't hired a Layne-wannabe guy with drug/alcohol problems, unlike Shinoda, which he brought a singer who denies that depression and addiction exist, defended a ch1ld molester in court, and yet she sings songs like "Crawling" or "A Place For My Head", which ARE definitely songs about depression and abuse. This facade of bringing LP alive is the same shit they did with Wayne Static's Static-X band, by hiring someone who wears a Wayne's mask on stage. They should've just disbanded or just create another band with a different name, in my opinion. This ain't Metallica or Trent Reznor replacing their drummer/bassist. It's about replacing an entire legacy. Thankgod we have tons of demos, remixes and live shows with Chester, that we can still blast anytime we want. And all the rage and anger Chester put out, both in studio and live, I know it's genuine. Unlike with the new singer, who pretends to scream/sound exactly like him.
