Some more Christian metal. This singer sounds just like Bruce Dickinson. So much so, Maiden should have hired him instead of Blaze Bayley when Bruce left.
Barren Cross - Imaginary Music *regarding Christian metal. This is a genre I used to turn my nose up at, but lately, as I search for bands I overlooked from the 80s and 90s, I decided to give this genre a chance. Ended up discovering bands and albums that have become some of my favorites, even among all metal genres. If the music is good, it's good. Doesn't matter what genre it is, if it moves and inspires you, then that's great! |

I just love when I discover a band from the '80s or '90s that I had never heard of before. Been listening to this internet radio station and they played a song from this band. Soon thereafter I went searching for their albums to download. Great stuff. Sound a little like early Queensryche.

18 years ago, on this very day (9/14) I lost my mother after a long battle with cancer.
This song definitely hit different ever since......
