No More Sex From Craigslist
 

First, im sorry if im not posting this in the right section, if anyone uses craigslist, they recently removed, deleted their ENTIRE personal sections, every category. Just wow, it was a senate bill that passed today for sex trafficking online. See for yourself, go on the CL mainpage and try going into any personal section... kinda wowed here, as i personally used that site alot.

They took out Rants and Raves also making you wonder if they were not just cleaning up the site and wanted an excuse.

I totally get the human trafficking standpoint its awful, but alot of single guys like myself simply go on their to see if any human females in my area are on it to talk to, we arent all trying to lure underage girls to some dungeon to sell her. I just think they could have done something else, not just delete everything.

It's just fear from CL, years ago they got rid of their Escort page and now this.

It's fucking stupid, however dating sites might fit this domain and will be interesting how those sites get affected.

Didnt the escort pages get deleted cause of the CL killer? Philip Madoff, or something, im from Mass and he was to so that was why, i mean i guess it worked, it was the erotic services section, but deleting EVERYTHING, ridiculous.

It's was because some states wanted to persecute them for promoting prostitution, shortly after they shutdown backpage rose to fame.

TER (The Erotic Review) have removed all US ads.

City Vibe (which kind of took over Backpage place when Backpage stop accepting personal ads) also has shut down.

All these websites running scared and the law hasn't even been signed into law.

Not sure why CL has taken down the personals sections, it's not like that thing has become a law yet.

Scare tactics is working and the idiot who came up with this proposed laws are winning.

Even if it's signed into law, there will be legal challenges and until it's resolved in the courts, it can't be enforced.

Like the Texas Stripper Pole Tax law that was enacted years ago in 2009 and was tied up in court by lawsuits and the State of Texas couldn't enforce it until that was resolved in 2014.

You know whats actually scary? for the small % of rapists and nuts that used CL, lets say a girl offered to meet a guy for sex, through an ad, yes, scary, but she can get the address, see pictures call him and set up to meet in public. Now that same guy can go out, see a girl assume shes a hooker, underage etc and grab her, shes now your new victim.

The law will actually make sex crimes worse
