SmartPhone recommendation
 

My LG Razor 4 died an agonizing death yesterday (RIP May 2020 - March 2025), and so I need a new phone...

Before you being chiming in, there are limitations... first, I go prepaid, currently through TracFone. Would like to stick to them, as I have two $20 cards sitting here (but can sell them, if needed).

Not afraid to spend $$ for a good phone, but limited regarding where I can get it (long story...)

With that being said, I'm zeroing in on a Moto G Play. Most reviews are good (most complaints center around sluggish performance and iffy picture quality). Looking for some apps & game usage (non-graphics intensive... TikTok would be the biggest graphics hog), not a big picture taker, maybe could use some music because it has more RAM and SDcard capacity (the old phone had 8gb storage and a 32gb card... the Moto has 64gb storage and can support up to a 1tb card).

Anyone have one, that wants to chip in with their take? :confused:

I don't have a Motorola.

But you can get pretty good specs with either a Blackview, Xiaomi's Redmi Series or Huawei.

Those are pretty trendy and are what are sold the most, here in Europe.
Very Apple-like build quality and features for less than $2000.

Okay, let's throw in a contender:

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G

Annnnnnnnnddddddddddddddd... go.

if you can get an A35 instead, it is basically a workhorse, simple and fast with a good screen and overall good features

Not looking to spend that much $$$. Pretty much zeroed in on the Samsung Galaxy A15 for $99... might pick it up tomorrow.
